This is a platform where you will love to learn and keep your skills up-to-date. You’ll also get chances to design and manage the organization and contribute to our living knowledge.
Step 1
The first step to creating a successful workshop is, of course ,deciding what your workshop will be teaching. If you're unsure of what to do, feel free to head over to our home page and check out the categories. There are a ton of awesome ideas out there, and you just need to find them! You can even reach out to one of us or one of your friends. Brainstorm and make a list of ideas. Pick out the one you feel most confident about. Voila! You've got a workshop idea!
Step 2
The second step is planning out your entire presentation, including what aspects your going to focus on and teach. It might also help to take notes of what you plan to do. Be organized if you want your workshop to be remembered.
Step 3
The third step is to think a little more about your idea and the materials required. Are they probably going to be lying around your house? Don't forget, the materials have to be easily acquired. Every single participant should have them at home. Make a list of the materials you will need and write down a description of your workshop. If you plan to go with this idea, you're going to have to inform others about details at some point.
Step 4
The fourth step is proof of concept. Do a mock workshop. If you want, you can ask for the help of an adult. If it's successful, perfect! You're ready. If not, don't worry. Make the necessary changes and try again till you get it right. Once you're ready, congratulations! You've prepared a workshop!
