Persistence Pays Off

Have you ever lost or come last before? I certainly have and if you have ever lost, I know how it feels... Rejected, annoyed, depressed and angry. However have you ever turned around to look at what errors you made or places where you could have improved? Not really. That was when someone flashed through my memory, my favourite author, a great rebel, a persisted woman and best of all a great person...(drum roll) J.K.Rowling! Everyone's favourite author and record breaker. That's when her story swarmed through my head, how every publisher rejected her books and novels, but she persisted when most people would have given up, and even after years of thinking, patience and trial and error she created a spellbinding and record breaker book: Harry Potter! But even this marvel was rejected at first but she kept trying and then after decades of her hard work her perseverance paid off. Harry Potter a favourite of every child and adult, broke all bounds and had such gripping features that you cannot put it down. Now see where persistence has lead her, she inspires me especially when I lost going to nationals by milliseconds, and how I never looked behind to see what I had done wrong or on the brightside what I had improved on. I hope her story inspires you to make your dreams come to reality, be persistent, never give up, face all your obstacles and most importantly its ok to fail but to come back strong and reach your goals. Let's move our mountains!!!!
